I'll tell you, man...I'm disappointed in the World Series result. I really am...This being said...

We were expected by everyone (including myself) to finish third in our division. We won it by 13 games. Going into game seven of the NLCS (which I was lucky enough to go to by the way) Jeff Suppan had to outpitch Roger Clemens for us to make it to the World Series. He did.

I'm disappointed, but it was a magical season for Cardinals fans, and one that I'll remember always. I tip my cap to the Red Sox, and to their great fans. Lord knows they've waited longer for a World Series title than I have (I got one in '82)...
